| 2011-24124 | Swap Transaction Compliance and Implementation Schedule: Clearing and Trade Execution Requirements under Section 2(h) of the CEA | Proposed Rule | The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (Commission or CFTC) is proposing regulations that would establish a schedule to phase in compliance with certain new statutory provisions enacted under Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act). These provisions include the clearing requirement under new section 2(h)(1)(A) of the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA or Act), and the trade execution requirement under new section 2(h)(8)(A) of the CEA. The proposed schedules would provide relief in the form of additional time for compliance with these requirements. This relief is intended to facilitate the transition to the new regulatory regime established by the Dodd-Frank Act in an orderly manner that does not unduly disrupt markets and transactions. The Commission requests comment on the proposed compliance schedules for these clearing and trade execution requirements. | 2011-09-20 | 2011 | 9 | https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2011/09/20/2011-24124/swap-transaction-compliance-and-implementation-schedule-clearing-and-trade-execution-requirements | https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2011-09-20/pdf/2011-24124.pdf | Commodity Futures Trading Commission | 77 | The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (Commission or CFTC) is proposing regulations that would establish a schedule to phase in compliance with certain new statutory provisions enacted under Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and... |
