The determination of attainment was previously made by EPA on April 5, 2011, based on quality-assured and certified monitoring data for the 2007-2009 monitoring period, that Rome, Georgia had attained the 1997 annual PM<INF>2.5</INF> NAAQS. The Rome Area is comprised of Floyd County, Georgia in its entirety. EPA is now proposing to find that the Rome Area attained the 1997 annual PM<INF>2.5</INF> NAAQS by its applicable attainment date.
