The Commission's proposal would also clarify that confidential information provided by the Commission to registered entities may only be used for market surveillance, audit, investigative or rule enforcement purposes and would remove the requirement that disclosures of confidential information to foreign government agencies and foreign futures authorities require the concurrence of the Commission's Division of Enforcement.
