2010-12567 Medicare Program; Supplemental Proposed Changes to the Hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment Systems for Acute Care Hospitals and the Long-Term Care Hospital Prospective Payment System and Supplemental Proposed Fiscal Year 2011 Rates Proposed Rule This proposed rule is a supplement to the fiscal year (FY) 2011 hospital inpatient prospective payment systems (IPPS) and long- term care prospective payment system (LTCH PPS) proposed rule published in the May 4, 2010 Federal Register. This supplemental proposed rule would implement certain statutory provisions relating to Medicare payments to hospitals for inpatient services that are contained in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (collectively known as the Affordable Care Act).
