Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize and congratulate\nCentral Insurance of Van Wert, Ohio, on the occasion of its 150th\nanniversary. This milestone is a testament to the company's enduring\ncommitment to its policyholders, agents, employees, and the community\nit has proudly called home since its founding.\n  Formally incorporated in 1876 as Van Wert County Mutual Fire\nInsurance Company, Central Insurance started out as a small, community-\nbased mutual insurer formed by neighbors to help neighbors share risk\nat a time when formal insurance was still emerging in rural America.\nCentral's operations soon began to stretch beyond Van Wert County. By\n1883, the company had become an interstate operation, and the name Van\nWert County Mutual Fire Insurance Company was limited. In 1884, the\nname was changed to The Central Manufacturers' Mutual Insurance\nCompany. By its 25th anniversary in 1901, the company had expanded\noperations into six states. As transportation transformed American life\nin the early twentieth century, Central adapted its offerings to\ninclude automobile insurance. Its regional footprint expanded further\nin the following decades, with branch offices established in Boston,\nAtlanta, and Dallas. Today, Central Insurance serves hundreds of\nthousands of individuals and businesses across the country.\n  Mr. Speaker, I ask my colleagues to join me in congratulating Central\nInsurance on this extraordinary milestone. For 150 years, Central\nInsurance has exemplified the very best of American business and served\nwith integrity and dedication. We wish Central Insurance all the best\nin their future endeavors.\n\n                          ____________________"]], "columns": ["granule_id", "date", "congress", "session", "volume", "issue", "title", "chamber", "granule_class", "sub_granule_class", "page_start", "page_end", "speakers", "bills", "citation", "full_text"], "primary_keys": ["granule_id"], "primary_key_values": ["CREC-2026-05-07-pt1-PgE419-4"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.5551360081881285, "source": "Federal Register API & Regulations.gov API", "source_url": "https://www.federalregister.gov/developers/api/v1", "license": "Public Domain (U.S. Government data)", "license_url": "https://www.regulations.gov/faq"}
