I rise today to honor Katherine Getty\nKoohmaraie and her service and contributions to Virginia's 1st District\nand the Nation.\n  Katherine joined my team in March of last year from Emergent\nBioSolutions, where she was head of federal affairs, after serving at\nthe NRCC for two cycles. Before her campaign experience, she pursued\nher master's degree in public administration at George Washington\nUniversity and worked at Akin Gump, where she helped health-care\nclients achieve their objectives. Katherine is also a proud alum of the\nUniversity of Florida.\n  Katherine served as a mentor and leader for the legislative team and\nthe entire office, sharing her expertise and knowledge with the rest of\nmy team. Her counsel and guidance have shaped my staff into the most\neffective and successful team on Capitol Hill. Katherine was highly\nmotivated, thoughtful, and kind. In a role that demands precision,\nflexibility, and the ability to delegate responsibilities thoughtfully,\nshe consistently rose to the occasion. Above all, Katherine's\nwillingness to teach and mentor other staff in the office allowed her\nto foster a positive and collaborative environment that will be missed.\nThrough her tireless work she leaves behind a legacy of excellence.\n  I would like to thank Katherine for her many contributions and\ndedicated service over the last year. She has been an invaluable member\nof my team, and I wish her the best of luck as she moves on to the next\nchapter of her professional career with Representative Neal Dunn in the\nFlorida Delegation. May God bless her as she embarks on a new\nchallenge, and I look forward to seeing her continued success in the\nfuture.\n  Mr. Speaker, I ask you to join me in recognizing Katherine Getty\nKoohmaraie for her service to Virginia's 1st District and the Nation.\n\n[[Page E419]]\n\n                          ____________________"]], "columns": ["granule_id", "date", "congress", "session", "volume", "issue", "title", "chamber", "granule_class", "sub_granule_class", "page_start", "page_end", "speakers", "bills", "citation", "full_text"], "primary_keys": ["granule_id"], "primary_key_values": ["CREC-2026-05-07-pt1-PgE418-4"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.5198639119043946, "source": "Federal Register API & Regulations.gov API", "source_url": "https://www.federalregister.gov/developers/api/v1", "license": "Public Domain (U.S. Government data)", "license_url": "https://www.regulations.gov/faq"}
