Mr. Speaker, I rise today to congratulate my constituent\nand fellow Kentuckian, Austin Allen, upon his acceptance to the United\nStates Merchant Marine Academy. Nominating young people to our service\nacademies is one of my greatest honors as a Member of Congress.\n  As a future midshipman, he will soon embark on a life-changing\njourney, joining our Nation's fourth arm of defense, the Merchant\nMarines.\n  Throughout the entire application process, Austin showed himself to\nbe a talented and well-rounded candidate. I do not doubt that he will\nsucceed in his future academic and Merchant Mariner career.\n  As a graduate of West Point, I can confidently say that the years I\nspent in a service academy were among the most transformative of my\nlife. I am confident that Austin's time at King's Point will be\nsimilarly impactful for him.\n  Guided by the Merchant Marine's motto of ``Acta Non Verba,'' the\ncoming years will challenge Austin to grow in character, strengthen his\nleadership, and commit to a life of service to our Nation.\n  Again, I congratulate Austin Allen on this impressive accomplishment.\nOur Commonwealth and the entire Nation thank him for his willingness to\nserve in uniform and wish him the best in this next chapter.\n\n                          ____________________"]], "columns": ["granule_id", "date", "congress", "session", "volume", "issue", "title", "chamber", "granule_class", "sub_granule_class", "page_start", "page_end", "speakers", "bills", "citation", "full_text"], "primary_keys": ["granule_id"], "primary_key_values": ["CREC-2026-05-07-pt1-PgE417-4"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.510629964992404, "source": "Federal Register API & Regulations.gov API", "source_url": "https://www.federalregister.gov/developers/api/v1", "license": "Public Domain (U.S. Government data)", "license_url": "https://www.regulations.gov/faq"}
