CRAIG A. GOLDMAN\n\n                                of texas\n\n                    in the house of representatives\n\n                      Wednesday, February 25, 2026\n\n  Mr. GOLDMAN of Texas. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize and\ncommend the Texas Christian University Women's Soccer Team for an\nextraordinary and historic season that has brought distinction to TCU\nand the State of Texas.\n  For the first time in program history, the Horned Frogs advanced to\nthe NCAA College Cup Final Four following a hard-fought 2-1 victory\nover Vanderbilt University. This milestone win marked the team's\nnineteenth victory of the season and confirmed its inaugural appearance\nin the NCAA College Cup. Throughout the season, the team demonstrated\nconsistent excellence, compiling an outstanding record, outscoring\nopponents by an incredible average of 54-22 and excelling against\nnationally ranked Top 25 competitors.\n  The team's collective success was matched by exceptional individual\nachievements. Seven Castain earned recognition as an NCAA Elite 90\nScholar-Athlete and Honda Sport Award finalist. Morgan Brown, Seven\nCastain, Kamdyn Fuller, Cameron Patton, and Sydney Becerra were named\nto the United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Team, with Brown and Castain\nalso receiving United Soccer Coaches All-American honors. Kamdyn Fuller\nand Emma Yolinsky earned All-Freshman Team recognition, while Head\nCoach Eric Bell was named National Coach of the Year by Top Drawer\nSoccer.\n  The Texas Christian University Women's Soccer Team exemplifies\ndedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Their composure under\npressure and commitment to excellence have earned the admiration of the\nTCU community and residents throughout Tarrant County and beyond.
