Mr. Speaker, today, I rise to honor Luis Francisco\nRamos Ramirez, who has been selected as January's Brevard County\nVeteran of the Month.\n  Mr. Ramos Ramirez proudly served our Nation in the United States\nArmy, answering the call to duty during a critical moment in our\nhistory. He served for three years, including time in Vietnam, where he\nconducted reconnaissance missions--some of the most dangerous and\ndemanding assignments in combat. Not only did he serve honorably, but\nhe also volunteered to remain in Vietnam for additional time,\ndemonstrating extraordinary courage and selflessness.\n  For his service, Mr. Ramos Ramirez earned the National Defense\nService Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars,\nand the Vietnam Campaign Medal--decorations that reflect both valor and\nsacrifice.\n\n[[Page E145]]\n\n  Like so many of our veterans, his legacy extends beyond the uniform.\nHis commitment to protecting our freedoms reminds us that the liberties\nwe enjoy today were secured by Americans willing to put country before\nself.\n  On behalf of Florida's Space Coast and a grateful Nation, we thank\nLuis Francisco Ramos Ramirez for his service, his sacrifice, and his\nexample. It is an honor to recognize him here today.\n\n                          ____________________"]], "columns": ["granule_id", "date", "congress", "session", "volume", "issue", "title", "chamber", "granule_class", "sub_granule_class", "page_start", "page_end", "speakers", "bills", "citation", "full_text"], "primary_keys": ["granule_id"], "primary_key_values": ["CREC-2026-02-20-pt1-PgE144-4"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 4.982889164239168, "source": "Federal Register API & Regulations.gov API", "source_url": "https://www.federalregister.gov/developers/api/v1", "license": "Public Domain (U.S. Government data)", "license_url": "https://www.regulations.gov/faq"}
