Mr. MARKEY submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to\n\n[[Page S4140]]\n\namendment SA 2360 proposed by Mr. Thune (for Mr. Graham) to the bill\nH.R. 1, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con.\nRes. 14; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:\n\n       At the appropriate place, insert the following:\n\n     SEC. ____. UNCOMPENSATED CARE PAYMENT ADJUSTMENT FOR SERVICES\n                   FURNISHED BY FEDERALLY-QUALIFIED HEALTH\n                   CENTERS.\n\n       Section 1902(bb) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C.\n     1396a(bb)) is amended--\n       (1) in paragraph (3), by striking ``paragraph (4)'' and\n     inserting ``paragraphs (4) and (5)''; and\n       (2) by adding at the end the following new paragraph:\n       ``(7) Uncompensated care payment adjustment.--For services\n     furnished during fiscal year 2027 or a succeeding fiscal\n     year, the State plan may provide an additional uncompensated\n     care payment adjustment for services described in section\n     1905(a)(2)(C) furnished by a Federally-qualified health\n     center, that is negotiated with Federally-qualified health\n     centers in the State and reflects the costs associated with\n     the provision of services to individuals during periods of\n     uninsurance.''.\n                                 ______"]], "columns": ["granule_id", "date", "congress", "session", "volume", "issue", "title", "chamber", "granule_class", "sub_granule_class", "page_start", "page_end", "speakers", "bills", "citation", "full_text"], "primary_keys": ["granule_id"], "primary_key_values": ["CREC-2025-06-30-pt1-PgS4139-3"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 22.428091848269105, "source": "Federal Register API & Regulations.gov API", "source_url": "https://www.federalregister.gov/developers/api/v1", "license": "Public Domain (U.S. Government data)", "license_url": "https://www.regulations.gov/faq"}
