Mr. President, Senator Richard Durbin of Illinois and\nSenator Edward Markey of Massachusetts support the motion to commit\nbill H.R. 1 to the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions\nof the Senate and eliminate provisions that would strike any provision\nthat restricts borrower defense to repayment or closed school\ndischarge.
