Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the following\nmotions to commit for the bill H.R. 1 be placed in the Congressional\nRecord:\n\n       A motion to commit the bill H.R. 1 to the Committee on\n     Finance of the Senate with instructions to report the same\n     back to the Senate in 3 days, not counting any day on which\n     the Senate is not in session, with changes that--\n       (1) are within the jurisdiction of such committee; and\n       (2) would--\n       (A) provide medical debt relief for the over 100,000,000\n     people in the United States affected by medical debt by\n     reducing the tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy within this\n     legislation; and\n       (B) ensure big corporations and the ultra-wealthy pay a\n     fair share in taxes.\n       A motion to commit the bill H.R. 1 to the Committee on\n     Finance of the Senate with instructions to report the same\n     back to the Senate in 3 days, not counting any day on which\n     the Senate is not in session, with changes that--\n       (1) are within the jurisdiction of such committee; and\n       (2) would-\n       (A) create a report by the Government Accountability Office\n     to Congress studying the health and economic impacts of\n     cutting Medicaid funding, by the amounts provided in such\n     legislation for those purposes, provided that such\n     legislation would not increase the deficit over the period of\n     the total of fiscal years 2025 through 2034; and\n       (B) ensure big corporations and the ultra-wealthy pay a\n     fair share in taxes.\n       A motion moves to commit the bill H.R. 1 to the Committee\n     on Finance of the Senate with instructions to report the same\n     back to the Senate in 3 days, not counting any day on which\n     the Senate is not in session, with changes that--\n       (1) are within the jurisdiction of such committee; and\n       (2) would--\n       (A) disallow lower coverage rates, reduced benefits or\n     decreased affordability for children and pregnant women\n     receiving coverage through the Medicaid Program, the\n     Children's Health Insurance Program, or the private insurance\n     markets established under the Patient Protection and\n     Affordable Care Act; and\n       (B) ensure big corporations and the ultra-wealthy pay a\n     fair share in taxes.\n       A motion moves to commit the bill H.R. 1 to the Committee\n     on Finance of the Senate with instructions to report the same\n     back to the Senate in 3 days, not counting any day on which\n     the Senate is not in session, with changes that--\n       (1) are within the jurisdiction of such committee; and\n       (2) would strike any provision that cuts Medicaid payments\n     for mental health care; and\n       (3) would ensure big corporations and the ultra-wealthy pay\n     a fair share in taxes.\n\n                          ____________________"]], "columns": ["granule_id", "date", "congress", "session", "volume", "issue", "title", "chamber", "granule_class", "sub_granule_class", "page_start", "page_end", "speakers", "bills", "citation", "full_text"], "primary_keys": ["granule_id"], "primary_key_values": ["CREC-2025-06-28-pt1-PgS3679"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 2.347036963328719, "source": "Federal Register API & Regulations.gov API", "source_url": "https://www.federalregister.gov/developers/api/v1", "license": "Public Domain (U.S. Government data)", "license_url": "https://www.regulations.gov/faq"}
