Mr. President, when the Senate considers the reconciliation [[Page S3680]] bill, H.R. 1, it is my intention to make the following motions to commit the bill: A motion to commit the bill to the Committee on Finance to strike any provision which reduces the average tax liability of individual taxpayers with income in excess of $100,000,000. A motion to commit the bill to the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation to ensure that the bill does not result in the movement of any non-Federal users by the Federal Communications Commission or the National Telecommunications and Information Administration into certain specified spectrum frequency bands without prior written approval from the Secretary of Defense. ____________________ |
