Madam Speaker, I rise to recognize the Ezibu Muntu\nAfrican Dance Company and all of the attendees of the ``Remember Them''\nconvocation on October 1, 2019, which commemorated the 400-year\nanniversary of the African Holocaust. The Ezibu Muntu African Dance\nCompany has helped increase awareness about the transatlantic slave\ntrade, and I am grateful for their efforts in organizing this important\ncommemoration.\n  The 400-year African Holocaust commemoration is an opportunity to\nmourn and reflect on the enduring impacts of the transatlantic slave\ntrade, and to celebrate all that our community has overcome and\nachieved since 1619. We must always remember those who were affected by\nthis horrific and painful chapter of history, and learn from our shared\npast. As we reflect, let us honor the resilience of our community, and\nreinvigorate our commitment to justice. Together, I know we can create\nan equitable and fair future for all generations.\n  Madam Speaker, please join me in expressing my gratitude to the Ezibu\nMuntu African Dance Company and all of the attendees of the ``Remember\nThem'' convocation for their work to better our community. As we look\ntoward our next chapter, let us never forget where we have come from,\nnor the experiences of those who came before us. I wish them the best\nfor a successful and healing event.\n\n                          ____________________"]], "columns": ["granule_id", "date", "congress", "session", "volume", "issue", "title", "chamber", "granule_class", "sub_granule_class", "page_start", "page_end", "speakers", "bills", "citation", "full_text"], "primary_keys": ["granule_id"], "primary_key_values": ["CREC-2019-10-04-pt1-PgE1246"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 99.64838204905391, "source": "Federal Register API & Regulations.gov API", "source_url": "https://www.federalregister.gov/developers/api/v1", "license": "Public Domain (U.S. Government data)", "license_url": "https://www.regulations.gov/faq"}
