MALONEY of New York. Mr. Speaker, I rise to pay\ntribute to the Diwali At Times Square celebration of Diwali, the\nFestival of Lights. I particularly want to recognize Neeta Bhasin,\nPresident and CEO of Event Guru and ASB Communications, for her\nextraordinary effort in organizing this event. The largest Asian-Indian\nevent in the United States, it has successfully united Hindus, Sikhs\nand other Diwali celebrators from all over the world in the heart of\nNew York to share the joyous occasion.\n  Diwali At Times Square started in 2013 and has since grown into an\neight-hour event featuring delicious food, fashion, arts and crafts,\nand Bollywood performances. It displays Asian-Indian culture to the\nworld and engages people of all ages and backgrounds in the values of\nDiwali: light over dark, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil.\n  This year, I had the pleasure of attending Diwali At Times Square.\nThe energy and joy at the celebration is contagious. Times Square, one\nof the brightest places on earth, is the perfect location to honor the\nFestival of Lights.\n  Mr. Speaker, I ask my colleagues to join me in celebrating Neeta\nBhasin and Diwali At Times Square for helping everyone in the New York\nMetropolitan region celebrate this beautiful holiday.\n\n                          ____________________"]], "columns": ["granule_id", "date", "congress", "session", "volume", "issue", "title", "chamber", "granule_class", "sub_granule_class", "page_start", "page_end", "speakers", "bills", "citation", "full_text"], "primary_keys": ["granule_id"], "primary_key_values": ["CREC-2016-12-23-pt1-PgE1738"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 17.535906052216887, "source": "Federal Register API & Regulations.gov API", "source_url": "https://www.federalregister.gov/developers/api/v1", "license": "Public Domain (U.S. Government data)", "license_url": "https://www.regulations.gov/faq"}
