Mr. Speaker, it is with great pride and pleasure that I\nrise today to recognize Alabama State Representative F.P. ``Skippy''\nWhite for his dedicated, faithful public service to the citizens of\nBaldwin and Escambia Counties.\n  Representative White has been a tremendous advocate for all of south\nAlabama for over three decades. He began his public service career as a\ncouncilman for the city of Pollard, AL, and served for 7 years. In\n1982, he was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives and served\nin that capacity for 24 years.\n  During his career in the Alabama State Legislature, Representative\nWhite worked tirelessly on behalf of south Alabama. He was\ndistinguished as an outstanding legislator and served on the House\nRules Committee.\n  Mr. Speaker, the faithful service of outstanding Americans like\nSkippy White has aided in an immeasurable way to the well being of our\ncommunity. I would like to offer my congratulations for his many\npersonal and professional achievements.
