Mr. Speaker, it is with great pleasure that I stand today\nto pay tribute to a friend and fellow Nevadan. Mr. Raymond Rawson has\nserved the great State of Nevada in the Nevada State Senate since 1985.\nI have had the honor to serve with him as he served as the Senate\nAssistant Majority Floor Leader in which he served as a great\nlegislative role model and leader. I know that he will be missed in his\nretirement.\n  Mr. Rawson was born in Sandy, Utah, in 1940. He later moved to Nevada\nto pursue a bachelor's degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.\nHe received his D.D.S. from Loma Linda University Dental School,\nCalifornia, and then returned to Las Vegas to pursue a masters degree\nat UNLV in physical anthropology.\n\n[[Page E2205]]\n\n  Mr. Rawson served the public in his 19 years of political service, as\nwell as in his dental practice where he received numerous dental awards\nincluding Dentist of the Year in 1997. Mr. Rawson has served his\ncommunity well in his political capacity, and I am sure he will\ncontinue to serve even after his retirement.\n  Mr. Speaker, I ask my fellow colleagues to stand with me today and\nhonor all those State legislators across the country, like Mr. Rawson,\nwho have dedicated so many years to building a better State community,\nwhich in turn contributes to a better Nation.\n\n                          ____________________"]], "columns": ["granule_id", "date", "congress", "session", "volume", "issue", "title", "chamber", "granule_class", "sub_granule_class", "page_start", "page_end", "speakers", "bills", "citation", "full_text"], "primary_keys": ["granule_id"], "primary_key_values": ["CREC-2004-12-20-pt1-PgE2204-4"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.43606595136225224, "source": "Federal Register API & Regulations.gov API", "source_url": "https://www.federalregister.gov/developers/api/v1", "license": "Public Domain (U.S. Government data)", "license_url": "https://www.regulations.gov/faq"}
