An act to amend the Merchant Marine Act, 1936, to establish a program to ensure greater security for United States seaports, and for other purposes. On November 26: S. 3044. An act to authorize the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency of the District of Columbia to provide for the interstate supervision of offenders on parole, probation, and supervised release. On December 2: S. 3156. An act to provide a grant for the construction of a new community center in St. Paul, Minnesota, in honor of the late Senator Paul Wellstone and his beloved wife, Sheila. [[Page H9134]] On December 4: S. 2239. An act to amend the National Housing Act to simplify the downpayment requirements for FHA mortgage insurance for single family homebuyers. S.J. Res. 53.
