JERRY WELLER\n\n                              of illinois\n\n                    in the house of representatives\n\n                       Friday, December 18, 1998\n\n  Mr. WELLER. Mr. Speaker, I come to the well today with the sad news\nof the passing of\n\n[[Page E2345]]\n\nRaymond ``Kent'' Richardson, Sr. of Streator, Illinois on December 8,\n1998. Born 81 years ago in Tonica, Illinois, Mr. Richardson was a life\nlong resident of the 11th Congressional district and was active in many\ncommunity activities.\n  Mr. Richardson graduated from Tonica High School in 1934. He worked\nas a truck driver for Melvin Trucking in Streator, Illinois and was\nelected as the President for the Teamsters Local #722, where he served\nin the interest of local workers for 15 years until his retirement.\n  Mr. Speaker, perhaps more importantly, Mr. Richardson served his\ncountry with honor in the Pacific Theatre during World War II as a\nSergeant with the United States Marine Corps 11th Amphibious Tractor\nBattalion. Because of his service to his country, Mr. Richardson was a\nlife member of the VFW Post #1492 in Streator. Additionally Mr.\nRichardson was a member of American Legion Post #217 in Streator, a\nlife member of the Marine Corps League and a 50 year member of the\nMasonic Lodge #364 in Tonica.\n  Mr. Speaker, on behalf of the entire House I offer my heart felt\ncondolences to Kent's wife Marjorie and the entire Richardson family\nand I wish them the best this holiday season.\n\n                          ____________________"]], "columns": ["granule_id", "date", "congress", "session", "volume", "issue", "title", "chamber", "granule_class", "sub_granule_class", "page_start", "page_end", "speakers", "bills", "citation", "full_text"], "primary_keys": ["granule_id"], "primary_key_values": ["CREC-1998-12-18-pt1-PgE2344-2"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 13.137975009158254, "source": "Federal Register API & Regulations.gov API", "source_url": "https://www.federalregister.gov/developers/api/v1", "license": "Public Domain (U.S. Government data)", "license_url": "https://www.regulations.gov/faq"}
