CARLOS J. MOORHEAD of california in the house of representatives Thursday, October 6, 1994 Mr. MOORHEAD. Mr. Speaker, I would like to join my colleagues in saying ``Thank You'' and ``Goodbye'' to our good friend from Florida, Congressman Tom Lewis. Representative Lewis first came to the House in 1982. He retires today after more than a decade of distinguished service, which followed an equally distinguished period of service in the Florida House and Senate. Mr. Speaker, the House of Representatives will be less for the loss of Tom Lewis. He was a gentleman; a contributor; a friend and supporter. I wish him the very best. ____________________ |
