Sign on directed to MOCs. PROTECT HUMAN TRAFFICKING VICTIM SERVICES: Sign-on letter urging Congress to protect victim services funding under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA). On September 30, over 100 victim services grants from the DOJ Office for Victims of Crime will expire. Yet, new funding opportunities have not been released. Without immediate action, thousands of individuals-including trafficking survivors-will lose access to lifesaving services. For those who rely on this funding, the consequences are dire. Losing access to safe housing, counseling, legal support, or medical care can leave people without stability, increase their vulnerability to trafficking, and heighten the risk of re-exploitation.
