Supports H.R.1836 - Ocean Shipping Reform Implementation Act of 2023: This bill expands the Federal Maritime Commission's authority to regulate technology and anticompetitive practices within the international ocean transportation system. 9. Supports transformative research at USDA by including the bipartisan, bicameral Advancing Cutting Edge (ACE) Agriculture Act (S.834 and H.R.2385) in the next Farm Bill. These bills will amend the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 to extend and permanently authorize the Agriculture Advanced Research and Development Authority. 10.
