While we were mostly there to simply "touch base and say hello" we also did discuss with Jon the Senator's co-sponsorship of the Manufacturing Universities Act. We asked a few questions about how it would work and also offered our support and guidance if needed. In May, the Senator ended up holding a news conference on Binghamton's campus to announce her support of the Manufacturing Universities Act and explain why she is supporting this legislation.
